Nice work bro! 🙂 Who is next?
April 16, 2017 at 2:17 am #1340
omg thanks bro, I came here to post it and notify everyone who was asking and you took care of it for me.
I didn’t know you saw it though, cuz there was no ‘Mihovil’ in the YT comments 😛
That’s the last one I make for a while though, it’s not my core skill or biz, just made ’em to help Evan’s empire #ryze 🙂

Ah, was just wondering who will be next. 🙁
April 18, 2017 at 12:44 pm #1345
Well if it gets enough shares/subs, I may teach one of Evan’s team how to make them 🙂
April 18, 2017 at 2:11 pm #1346
You can’t teach anyone how to do something “your way”. 🙂 But seriously, make at least 2-3 more, you just scratched the surface. And people are liking it + views are strong, 7k in 3-4 days! 🙂

You sure ’bout that #belief? Ryze is all about the teaching 😉
I had 10% of an Elon Musk one done, but meh.
And I’m thrilled at the heartfelt comments & views, but Evan usually measures by subs primarily. If a series doesn’t convert new peeps into loyal subs, it’s not a great sign 🙂

Aaaah, good point you have there! 🙂
I see. 🙁
April 21, 2017 at 2:32 pm #1351
Yeah, if someone shared it to a rap forum or celebrity news site or something, it’d bring in a ton of subs, maybe someone will, who knows 🙂

A bit late to the party, but great job on the video. I’ve been a fan of his music for some time and knew part of his story, but it’s cool to learn more about his journey 🙂

Thanks so much, Z!
And I’m curious… what did you think of the editing? 😉
May 5, 2017 at 11:14 am #1360
I liked it :-). The clips and images fit well with the text/story and the changes in pace were great too. They fit with the music and made the video feel more dynamic.

Aw thanks, Z. Coming from a video guy like yourself, that means a lot 😀 When do we get to see your next piece?

UPDATE: So far the Kanye #LifeStory
Jay Z #LifeStory
have not gotten the shares/subs/reach that Evan prefers, so the series is shelved for now. 🙂
But someone recently said the video touched them and made them cry 🙂

Though they (Kanye and Jay-Z) are big names who have the potential to draw a lot of people, the videos themselves might be a little too text heavy for most. I’m also not sure entrepreneurs are the most likely group of people to wanna see a video about Kanye’s and Jay’s life stories. That might be people who are into music or pop culture. So the videos might not be a good match for Evan’s target audience.

Both great thoughts, Z, and I’m open to them.
They did get 8000-10,000 views each in a less than a month, plus hundreds of Likes and positive comments, and not a single person mentioned the amount of text, so… not sure on that one.
Your second point about audience is true, that’s much more likely, but the point of these videos was to be SHAREABLE MUSIC VIDS w/ story, a very popular format on YT, and to introduce a NEW AUDIENCE to Evan’s channel.
If they were shared on a music forum or subreddit, they’d almost certainly blow up. They weren’t shared though, so it is what it is 🙂
